Here is a great opportunity for Salvation Army youth to get involved in a mission right here in Canada.  The Salvation Army is an official member of a broad network of Christian denominations and parachurch agencies called More Than Gold, which is planning for outreach and service before, during and after the 2010 Olympic Games.

Applications for volunteers, and mission members for the Paralympics, Olympics, and Torch Relay teams are available online, along with suggestions for local mission opportunities.

Encourage members of your local corps or ministry unit to get involved in the More Than Gold campaign, right where you are!
