Jude Gotrich - Visit to Ontario
Jude Gotrich will be the special guest for Territorial Headquarters Thursday morning prayers, Thursday November 4, 2010.  She will also be the special guest at two prayer initiatives: 
Ontario Central East - Thursday November 4 at  Hales at Cornerstone Community Church in Meadowvale - 7:30 p.m.

Ontario Great Lakes at Guelph Corps, Friday November 5 - 5:00 - 8:30 p.m.

 Jude Gotrich serves as the Territorial Director for Worship Development & Prayer Initiative in the Southern United States. In this capacity, she resources, advises and facilitates worship design and development with individual corps. Additionally, she assists in the various intentional prayer initiatives at all levels in the territory as well as special prayer events beyond the 15 southern states. In this role she researches, encourages and promotes the implementation of scriptural and cultural expressions of worship and prayer as defined by their context, maximizing the effectiveness of worship services in alignment with The Salvation Army’s mission to save souls, grow saints and serve suffering humanity. She has organized and monitored the first inaugural 24/7 prayer in the south involving 243 corps as well as developing other prayer events (Tabernacling with God) in territorial congress settings as well as Officers’ Councils and retreats for various groups. She has conducted prayer mapping seminars in concert with the Daughters of Promise for the purpose of establishing prayer cells in the south. She has created and written all the quarterly materials and oversees the promotion of the Prayer Warriors initiative (over 800 members) as well as establishing a website exclusively addressing the disciplines of prayer, continually contributing to its contents (www.ArmyBattleCry.org).

As a musician, Jude has had opportunity to experience worship all over the army’s international expression and has been a long standing promoter of the arts in worship. She worked for 6 years as the Territorial Gospel Arts Director as well as serving in camp and retreat settings for over 38 years. She holds a vocal performance certification from New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, a Bachelor’s degree in English from Gordon College in Wenham, MA and a Master’s degree in Worship Theology from the Robert E. Webber Institute of Worship Studies. Jude resides in Atlanta with her husband, Bert, and has two grown children. They are active members of the Lawrenceville Corps in Georgia.
