Building Blocks

Junior Action Unit 1 - Fall 2010

Description:
The Salvation Army is a wonderful movement and each young person in Junior Action is a part of it. Anything that is a wonderful and has been around as long as The Salvation Army must have a solid foundation. Foundations are built by placing strong individual blocks together. Building Blocks introduces the young people to the early beginnings of The Salvation Army and how William and Catherine Booth came to start it. Building Blocks presents an overview of the Bible and the treasures that are hidden in it. Building Blocks also examines the first four doctrines of The Salvation Army, because if you are going to be a part of something great you need to know what you believe. The goal of this unit is to establish 'building blocks' of understanding of The Salvation Army's ministry and to help each young person build a solid foundation.
