Discussion
Each Gospel in the New Testament has its own angle of vision. Each Gospel bears witness to the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. And each Gospel offers a unique perspective on this central figure of Christian faith. The Gospel of Luke does so in its unique way.
One of the dominant images in the Gospel of Luke is “journey.” In particular, Luke emphasizes the journey Jesus takes to Easter. And this Gospel also draws attention to the life of faith that lies beyond Easter. With this in mind, we would like to offer resources to individuals and congregations in order to let Luke’s voice speak into our lives as we journey to Easter…and beyond.
Beginning with Sunday, January 24, resources will be offered that are designed to help those preparing for worship, the preaching task, and Bible study groups. They are designed to help integrate those activities within a Christian community, but can also be used separately.
May you find them helpful in the journey you undertake.
Feedback is most welcomed.
Every blessing,
