If you’re doing this at the corps, ask volunteers to share their memories about the corps from when they first attended, what their experience was like, etc. These taped memories would make great viewing at a corps anniversary.
HULA HOOP FUN! Who can resist a hula hoop? Here are some fun things that kids (and grown ups?) can do with hula hoops.
Balancing Act. The challenge is to find the center point on their fingertip or forehead. For a bigger challenge, try balancing the hoop on a ruler.
Rolling Along. Place a ball or other object on the ground. Players must step away a few feet and try to roll the hoop toward it.
Hoop Toss. Weigh down an empty milk carton with sand and try tossing the hoop over the top of it. Alternately, place a lawn chair upside down and use the four legs as tossing targets.
Push the Hula Hoop. Gently push the hula hoop to get it rolling on a soft surface such as grass. Then challenge players to duck down and run through it.
Lasso Hula. Cut a length of heavy string about a yard long, then tie it to the hoop. Hold the string just so and rotate the wrist so the hoop becomes a "lasso" twirling around and around.
Find a long stick and use it to push a rolling hoop. For best results, move the stick from one side to the other as the hoop rolls along.

ROUND-ROBIN BOARD GAMES - Gather some popular board games, set them up and number the table they are on. Bring some kind of timer to monitor game play time. As players arrive, have them take a number that corresponds to the number of games you have set up. Make sure there are not more games than you have players to play them. Players should go to the table with the number that corresponds to the number they received on arrival, and when the game is full, begin playing. After 15 minutes, ring the buzzer and shout “Switch”, and players should move to another game table. Players take over where others left off until the next “Switch”.

There is a very specific purpose, and that is to see what outward signs your life shows of your inward spiritual condition. When Jesus talked about “the least of these” in Matthew 25:31-46, he was warning his followers not to ignore people who need their help. If we can pass by people in need and have the means to help them, said Jesus, how can we say the love of God lives in us?
Stewardship is really a gift that God gives us. It gives us the opportunity, every day, to demonstrate with our lives that we either believe God and trust His Word, or we just say that we believe it.
When it comes to giving, many people are frustrated by the struggle between the desire to be generous and the demands of bills and creditors. God’s Word says that when you owe money, you are a slave to the debtor (see Proverbs 22:7, 25-27). If this describes your situation, we strongly recommend that you find godly counsel and get out of slavery so you can experience the freedom of cheerful, generous giving! In fact, experience has shown that the simple act of giving of our material resources can be a way God uses us to share the good news of Jesus Christ with another person.
Together with your family, read Matthew 25:31-46 and consider your response to Jesus’ words. It may help you to think about:

Your desired level of giving
Needs you feel God has equipped you to meet
Opportunities to give that you have missed
Commitments you’d like to make to meeting needs as God directs you
